Nel 1945, in Danimarca, i cantieri Nakskov Shipyard concepirono la Buena Nina: un gigante d'acciaio, sviluppato in 35 metri di lunghezza e 7 di larghezza. Un rompighiaccio vigoroso, che con la propria autonomia di 4000 miglie marine, fu in grado di effettuare, senza sosta, molteplici traversate atlantiche.
Alla vigilia della seconda Guerra Mondiale, l'imponenza e la validitΰ dell'orgoglio cantieristico danese affascinarono Adolf Hitler, a tal punto che volle far costruire la Buena Nina. Mancavano solo pochi mesi al varo, quando la guerra finμ.
La nave non ebbe la possibilitΰ di raggiungere la Germania con il suo nuovo armatore. Restando in Danimarca, fu impiegata dalle forze armate in azzardate operazioni di sminamento dei mari del nord, con un dispositivo magnetico "ancora oggi funzionante", sempre portate a termine con esito positivo |

THE FLAGSHIP OF THE RANGE OFFERS AN UPPER POINT OF VIEW.
The new layout maintains the structural excellence of the original yacht, with the addition of an upper deck containing a pilot house that dominates the sea. The internal environment respects the innovative solutions introduced on the Ferretti Yachts flagship which inspired the 881 RPH. Coming on board, the spaciousness of the interior together with the use of light tones, such as elm and soft-coloured materials make the salon stand out in terms of size and luminosity. The living area has a symmetrical layout, with a double sofa on both sides. A retractable 32 inch plasma TV in the centre separates the salon from the dining area which contains a table capable of seating eight people comfortably. Situated on the lower deck, the master cabin has two large open windows on either side which make it an extremely spacious and luminous suite. In addition to the master cabin, there are two twin bed cabins with en suite bathrooms and a VIP cabin in the bow. The Ferretti 881 RPH has been fitted with new engines, two 2,211 horsepower MTUs that easily meet all expectations, pushing the top speed to 29 knots with a cruising speed of 26 knots.

The revolutionary "Zero Emission Mode" hybrid propulsion system: zero emission sailing becomes reality with technology developed by Ferretti's AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology. The new hybrid propulsion system allows the craft to be managed in 5 different ways - easily controlled through a touch-screen display - ranging from the traditional diesel function to the zero emissions mode, using different combinations of diesel engine, electric engine, inverter, batteries and generator. The Long Range 23 features the most cutting edge technology now on the market, offering owners the opportunity to select the propulsion mode that best reflects the needs of the moment - sailing, for example, in unpolluted areas with total respect for the environment, lying at mooring with zero emissions while accessing all the boat's electrical facilities or entering and leaving port in absolute silence while creating no smoky exhaust emissions.
The new FER.WEY (Ferretti Wave Efficient Yacht) trans-planing hull ensures higher hydrodynamic efficiency than other planing or displacement hulls, thanks to the innovative design of the depth surface, permitting the boat to avoid adopting the usual stern-down ("pooped") attitude when speed is increased. The new FER.WEY hull also reduces the typical roll experienced by displacement hulls and improves static stability by up to 50%.
The two technologies - the hybrid propulsion system and trans-planing hull - combine and reinforce each other in a craft that offers a revolutionary design concept and solutions.
