Saloon & Dinning Area This area is about 53.00m2 (570 ft2) and has a large double door aft onto the aft deck and additional exterior seating / dinning area. The galley is to port and has a counter area of 4.76m2 (51 ft2) as well as a crew dinning area and access to the crew quarters. Aft of the Stbd VIP cabin there is a storage area that has an area of 5.00m2 (53 ft2). Displacing 50 tons, this design cruises at 22 knots, sprinting at 25 knots from her twin 600-hp MAN diesels, and with sufficient range for Pacific island cruising. Accommodation includes a master suite of majestic proportions, a large VIP suite with queen sized double berth and a guest cabin, incorporating a double berth with a pullman single. All cabins are equipped with ensuite bathroom facilities and a jacuzzi located on the upper deck is a luxurious addition for this designs guests.
Another striking feature of the boat is the 13'1" x 14'8" elevator platform located on the aft wingdeck. Situated 3'3" above the waterline, the platform can be lowered to 1'7" below the water, making it ideal for retrieval and deployment of the tenders and as an artificial beach for swimmers and divers.
The following picture shows the sistership of this design shrugging off a significant slam when her skipper decided that the safest place to be before an incoming storm reached its full ferocity was offshore. This was preferable to being stuck in a small Mediterranean harbour with a multitude of other poorly secured fishing boats and yachts. No other boats would dare leave the harbour - testament to this designs excellent sea keeping.

31m Wavepiercer - This vessel has been designed with three variations, separately fulfilling requirements for operation in the Mediterranean, and for both tropical and temperate regions of the USA. This three and a half deck vessel is intended to fulfill the role of a high quality, private motor yacht, with the ability to operate commercially for top quality charters.
Interior arrangements on the upper level will vary depending on the configuration. The fully enclosed version permits the bridge and captain’s quarters to move to this level, leaving the next deck down clear for an enormous owner’s suite, although the upper deck could also make for a skylounge with 360 degree panoramic views. Open versions of the boat would be configured as a flybridge, with sun beds, wet bars and a Jacuzzi if preferred.
The mid or bridge deck level houses the bridge island in its forward sections, and as the main control station for the vessel incorporates twin helm seats, navigation and communications systems and major ship control functions. Guest seating is also located in the bridge which converts to an ’on watch’ berth. The captain’s double cabin with ensuite bathroom facilities is located immediately adjacent to the bridge - a useful safety feature. A Portuguese Bridge permits foredeck access from the bridge as well as allowing crew to access the service sections of the vessel without the need to enter the accommodation areas of the vessel.
The owner’s suite occupies the entire aft sections of the bridge deck level and is designed as a multi-functional area, affording the utmost privacy for the owner, but also offering a relaxed private meeting and al fresco dining area for guests if required. The main deck level accommodates four large guest staterooms all with king sized beds and ensuite bathrooms in the forward sections of the vessel. Further aft, access to the upper decks can be gained from a centrally located stairwell adjacent to the large galley.
Seating for ten is available in the formal dining area, which is divided from the lounge by a central island. A large al fresco dining area is located not far from here on the aft deck. Twin curving stairways provide access from the aft deck onto the lower elevator deck, which houses the 18' tender and two, three man jet skis. Hydraulically actuated, the elevator deck lowers from wingdeck height 5'7" above the waterline to 3'3" below, allowing easy launch and retrieve of the tenders and forming an unparalleled means of access to the water for swimmers and divers.
Accommodation within the demi-hulls is provided for an engineer, a workshop and a twin guest bunkroom in the opposite demi-hull. Both cabins have adjacent toilet and shower facilities.

The vessel will be subject to Det Norske Veritas (DNV) classification. The vessel will also comply with the United Kingdom Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Code of Practice for Safety of Large Commercial Sailing and Motor Vessels.
Helicopter landing and servicing facilities have been incorporatred into the upper aft deck level, which also accommodates a swimming pool.
