'ALCYONE' is a professionally restored example of this one-design class, by a qualified boat-builder from 2011-2019. Alcyone was built by the well-respected yard of Cardnell Brothers on the East Coast for C J Tinson of Colchester in 1960. She was stationed in West Mersea during the 1960s.
