Her keel was laid 1st May 2008.
She was launched 27th May 2010 and delivered 9th January 2011.
The original Builders Certificate was issued 30th June 2010, and notarised 9th July 2010.
The yacht was not registered and used until 2012 by her first owner
This four-deck custom yacht from the famous Dutch shipyard was built in 2010 and once again confirms Heesen’s leading positions in the superyacht industry.
The exterior of this 45-meter aluminum vessel with sleek hull lines and multi-size windows is elegant and recognizable.
On the initiative of the present (2nd) owner all interiors were significantly changed and looks much more luxurious and expressive now.
The keynote of the new design is the combination of white and brown colors, as well as contrast in usage of different textures and materials.
The owner maintained the boat with great respect and care so everything on the yacht, incl. magnificent carpets, is in perfect condition.
The yacht is designed to accommodate 10 guests in 5 spacious cabins, each with an en-suite shower.
Four guest cabins (two of them – VIP) are situated on the lower deck. There is a sauna, garage for tender (Novurania Custom Line 650) and storage for water accessories at the lame level.
The owner area is on the main deck in the bow area. It takes full beam and includes master cabin, master study and en-suite bathroom.
Closer to the aft there is a dining room and the main salon, which connects to the aft lounge with a magnificent semicircular panoramic salon. Large (60 m2) well-zoned sundeck will surprise even the most sophisticated guests.
Heesen 44.70 is extremely spacious and takes a leading position among the other yachts in class.
Powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M90 diesel engines, this semi-displacement superyacht demonstrates cruising speed of 20 knots with maximum of 23 knots, which is an excellent speed for his size.
In 2017 during the refit external paint job on the hull was made. hanging the blue hull to beige made the yacht even more elegant.

She is built with Aluminium hull and Aluminium superstructure. San Bernardo is built to comply to MCA standards. With a cruising speed of 18 knots, a maximum speed of 25 knots and a range of 3,200 nm from her 69,000 litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.
